Ken Allen
President and Founder
Ken is a senior marketing executive specializing
in strategic brand management including the
development and implementation of high technology marketing plans.
As Director of Product Marketing at I-many, the
leading provider of enterprise contract management solutions, Ken helped
define and articulate key product messaging and value propositions for
enterprise products and provided key market input into the product
development cycle. Additionally, Ken created and delivered
briefings to the marketplace and industry analysts and managed the
process around developing sales and marketing collateral.
Prior to I-many, Ken was senior product marketing manager at
Art Technology Group (ATG),
where he managed product marketing activities, focusing primarily on B2B
and B2C electronic commerce, enterprise application integration, and
content management initiatives. With an extensive background in product
marketing, he also managed the related partner marketing activities and
acted as a company resource for public and analyst relations activities.
Prior to ATG, Ken provided product marketing for the eBusiness web
hosting business unit at
Genuity, the
network services provider for companies changing the world.
Before Genuity, Ken held various product marketing positions at
Lotus Development
Corporation, primarily in the
Notes/Domino and Knowledge Management product groups. Ken also held
marketing and management consultant positions with Reflection
Technology, Paisley Park Enterprises, and
William M. Mercer
Inc.the
leading HR and compensation consulting firm. In addition, he has
presented at numerous industry tradeshows and seminars, including KM
World, Internet World, PC World, Lotus Developers' Conference,
Lotusphere, and Lotus Symposium.
Ken holds an M.B.A. in strategic marketing from the
Marshall
School of Business at the University of
Southern California, and a bachelor of arts in computer science and
mathematics from
Hamilton College in
Clinton, NY.
Ken currently lives in Newbury, MA.
